Communities and religions
- Being a cosmopolitan city where many cultures and nationalities live together, we find several temples and churches in the city. The vast majority are national treasures and important tourist attractions. Although the official religion is Roman Catholic, we can clearly see that Argentina is a multicultural country. It was 150 years ago when large numbers of immigrants arrived in the country to stay, settlin particularly in Buenos Aires, thus this complete freedom of worship began to govern.
Temple of the Israelita Congregation in Argentina

Headquarters of the Israeli Congregation in Argentina (CIRA), first Jewish association in the country, where we find the museum of Jewish history. Byzantine temple opened in 1932.
Russian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity

Opened in 1904, the seventeenth-century Muscovite style. The architect Christophersen fueAlejandro based on the designs of the Holy Synod of Russia Mihail Preobrazensky. At the front of the church we can see a representation of the Holy Trinity held in Saint Petersburg.
Metropolitan Cathedral

Rivadavia and San Martín, San Nicolás
Building of historical, cultural and artistic value. It contains four centuries of religious art and in its mausoleum lie the remains of General José de San Martín. Neoclassical style of the mid-nineteenth century.
Islamic Cultural Center Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd
- Av. Int. Bullrich 55, Palermo. Opened in 2000 the prince of Saudi Arabia here. Religious complex has capacity for 1,500 people for prayer and miranetes water sources for the rituals.
