Takes place in the Pato Field located 30km from the city of Buenos Aires. It requires boldness and courage and it is played on horses. Declared a National Sport in 1953. Since the seventeenth century the sport is being practiced in Argentina. Every weekend between March and October tournaments are held and in December the most important tournament is carried out, the Argentine Open Championship.
